Dermatology Physician Assistant

Physician Assistant-Dermatology-Minimum 1-year working in Dermatolgy Experience-Down Town Hartford, CT

Work Schedule: Flexible 4- or 5-day workweek

• Practice Setting: General Dermatology with optional Cosmetics

• Location Preference: Avon location strongly preferred, but open to splitting time between Avon and South Windsor

• Patient Demographics: Adult and Pediatric Dermatology

• Clinical Scope:

  • Diagnosis and management of common inflammatory skin conditions (e.g., acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis)

  • Comprehensive skin exams

  • Biopsy procedures and small excisions (must be comfortable and experienced)

• Salary: Competitive, discussed directly with candidates

  • Base + bonus structure

  • Generous compensation package; experienced APPs can earn close top end (above-market for the area)

Candidate Qualifications

• Physician Assistant (PA-C) with active/unrestricted Connecticut license (or ability to obtain)

• Dermatology experience preferred (new grads with strong interest may be considered)

• Must be personable, team-oriented, and committed to patient-centered care

• Proficiency with biopsies and minor excisions required
