About the Role
The Hire Mark is seeking an experienced Legal Executive Support Specialist to support our client's Chief Compliance Officer and executive leadership team. This role combines high-level executive administrative support with compliance, legal documentation, and office management responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, discreet, and comfortable handling sensitive legal and compliance matters in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Chief Compliance Officer
Manage calendars, meetings, schedules, and regulatory training coordination
Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, policies, reports, correspondence, and presentations
Maintain organized records of compliance filings, licenses, certifications, audits, and corporate governance documents
Track deadlines for regulatory filings, renewals, audits, and reporting requirements
Support internal investigations, audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
Prepare reports, dashboards, and materials for executive leadership and board presentations
Act as liaison between Compliance, Legal, HR, Operations, and external counsel
Handle confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion
Assist with office management duties as assigned (supplies, vendors, landlord coordination)
Complete special projects and additional duties as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required (Paralegal or legal background preferred)
Minimum 3+ years of experience in legal, compliance, HR, or executive support roles
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
High level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical judgment
Preferred Experience
Healthcare, senior living, or regulated industry experience
Exposure to regulatory compliance, internal audits, or corporate governance
Experience supporting C-suite or senior executives
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Primarily office-based in Los Angeles
Occasional travel to facilities as needed
Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and use office technology throughout the workday
