Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

We are seeking an OB/GYN Physician for ongoing hospital-based coverage in Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers in-house call coverage with a collaborative team environment and support from Midwives and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists.

Assignment Details

• Ongoing coverage
• Approximately 10 days per month
• Multiple open dates available
• Hospital-based practice

Schedule

• 24-hour in-house call shifts
• 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
• Maximum 48 consecutive in-house hours permitted
• Sleeping room available onsite

Practice Setting

• Acute Care Hospital
• Labor & Delivery coverage
• Hospital-based OB/GYN practice
• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• Serve as primary OB/GYN provider while on shift
• Labor and delivery management
• High-risk obstetrical care
• Emergency OB/GYN coverage
• Cesarean sections
• VBAC management

Volume & Patient Population

• Approximately 700 deliveries annually
• High-risk deliveries present
• Newborn nursery available

Support Staff

• Midwife support
• Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation available
• Collaborative labor and delivery team

Requirements

• MD/DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year experience

Credentialing

• Approximately 90 days
• Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
