Terms & Conditions

1. About these terms
These terms govern every booking made with Gateway To North Travels ("Gateway To North", "we", "us"). By confirming a booking you accept them on behalf of everyone named on it. Please read them alongside the specific inclusions listed on your quote, which take precedence where the two differ.
2. Bookings and confirmation
A booking becomes binding only when we issue a written confirmation and receive the deposit. Quotes are held for seven days unless stated otherwise; prices can change before confirmation because of airline fare movements, exchange rates or supplier availability.
3. Prices and payment
- All tour prices are per person on twin-share occupancy unless the quote says otherwise.
- A 30% deposit confirms the booking; the balance falls due 21 days before departure.
- Bookings made within 21 days of departure require payment in full at confirmation.
- Failure to pay the balance by the due date may be treated as a cancellation by you.
4. What is included
Each tour page lists inclusions and exclusions explicitly. Anything not listed as included — visa fees, travel insurance, meals not specified, optional excursions, tips and personal expenses — is your responsibility.
5. Changes by you
Date changes requested more than 15 days before departure are made free of charge where suppliers permit, with any fare or rate difference passed on at cost. Name changes on airline tickets are frequently impossible and are always subject to airline rules.
6. Changes by us
Occasionally an itinerary must change — weather, road closures, supplier failure or events outside anyone's control. Where a change is minor we will inform you and continue. Where a change is significant, you may accept the revised arrangement, take an alternative trip of equivalent value, or cancel for a full refund of amounts paid to us.
7. Cancellation
Cancellation charges are set out in full on our Refund Policy page and form part of these terms.
8. Passports, visas and health
You are responsible for holding a valid passport, the correct visas and any required vaccinations. We will advise and, where offered, assist with visa documentation, but we cannot be liable for a refused or delayed visa, nor for denied boarding due to incomplete documents.
9. Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is a condition of travel on all international tours. It must cover medical treatment, repatriation and cancellation, and must specifically cover any adventure activity on your itinerary.
10. Conduct
Our guides may remove any traveller whose behaviour endangers others, breaks local law, or materially disrupts the group. No refund is due in that case and any return costs are yours.
11. Liability
Gateway To North acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, transport operators and local guides. We select suppliers carefully but are not liable for loss, injury or delay caused by their acts or omissions, nor for events beyond reasonable control including weather, strikes, civil unrest and border closures. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence.
12. Complaints
If something goes wrong on trip, tell your guide or call the number on your voucher immediately — most issues can be fixed on the spot. Unresolved complaints should be sent in writing to info@gatewaytonorth.pk within 28 days of your return.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan and the courts of Lahore have exclusive jurisdiction.
