Day by day

Day 1

Islamabad to Kutton

Early departure, Kohala bridge and Muzaffarabad stops, arrive Kutton by evening.

Day 2

Kutton to Kel

Drive along the Neelum, Kundal Shahi and Keran photo stops, overnight in Kel.

Day 3

Arang Kel

Chairlift across the river then a one-hour uphill trek to the meadow village. Free afternoon.

Day 4

Sharda

Visit the ancient Sharda university ruins and the confluence viewpoint.

Day 5

Back to Kutton

Return drive with a stop at Kutton waterfall and a bonfire dinner.

Day 6

Return to Islamabad

Breakfast and the drive home with lunch en route.

Booked Kashmir for six of us. Hotels were better than the photos and the bonfire night in Kutton was something else.
